An individualized approach to care is the guiding principle at Longview. Person-Centered Care therapy is designed to enhance the dignity and quality of life for those living with dementia. A social history of life experiences is collected on arrival at Longview, so that care can be tailored to each resident’s unique strengths and needs.
Bowman Place was the first community in New Hampshire to offer the Behavior-Based Ergonomics Therapies (BBET), a program that consists of four therapies customized to each individual’s interests and capabilities:
- Music Therapy
- Curated Video Therapy
- Stimulating Therapy
- Memory Prop Therapy
Private bedroom and bath suites are designed to be safe and supportive. The neighborhoods feature inviting living and dining areas and a cozy country kitchen intended for resident engagement as they would in their own home.
